Hey there, I’m Chris.

A designer with over 15 years of experience, where I have done everything from Apparel Design to UX Design. I received a BFA in Photography while attending the Art Institute of Boston, and later a Master's Degree in Design with a focus on UX from Burlington College. I am originally from New York City, now living in the beautiful town of Burlington, VT.

I first got started in design in the apparel and action sports industry. From a young age, I was always drawn to graphics and fashion. After I graduated from college, my brother and I opened up our own boutique skate shop in Southern Vermont. From there we opened two more locations in Newport, RI, and Boston, MA. I managed and operated the Boston location on Newbury St. where I did everything from the day to day operations to design and merchandising products for all of our stores. It was here that I realized I really wanted to focus more on the design side of the business. I then launched a clothing company, Bow+Arrow which had great success selling globally through over 40 retail locations and online at Karmaloop, Eastern Boarder, & Newbury Comics to name a few, all within its first season.

Once I knew I wanted to make a career in the design world, I decided it would be beneficial for me to go back to school and receive a Master’s Degree in Design. The field is constantly changing and growing, and I wanted to learn all about other types of design, such as UX and UI Design. From there I was really able to broaden my horizons and bring everything I learned into my current work. Today, I am the Senior Manager of Experience Design at CVS Health. I manage an amazing team of designers that I am proud to work alongside and help grow in the way mentors have helped me in the past. I am all about learning myself, and teaching others where I can. Tools, standards, and processes are constantly changing. To stay on top, we must be constantly learning and growing, and that is exactly what I plan to keep on doing.
